Ordnance Survey - Explorer series (Great Britain)

A series of 403 detailed topographic maps which includes the whole of England, Scotland and Wales at a scale of 1:25,000 (1 cm = 250 m).
Ideal for hiking and other outdoor activities.
The maps show national trails, recreational trails, picnic areas, places with scenic spots and selected monuments.
Some maps that include very popular areas like National Parks, also called "Outdoor Leisure maps" (OL) are now included in the whole Explorer Maps series since the cartography is the same.

The maps are GPS compatible. The map legend is in English only, with the exception of the tourist information content which is also in French and German.
